The first time you open a safety app, you dread having to configure everything before you can use any of it. Good news: here it works the other way round. Three settings are enough, and you do them once and for all.
The first is your trusted contact. This is the person who watches over you: the one who gets told if something is wrong, and who can follow your outings. Their name, their number, done. You can add others whenever you like, but one is enough to start being covered.
The second is your favourite addresses. Home, work, a relative's place. Saving them once turns starting a protected trip into a single gesture: you pick the destination and tracking starts, contacts attached, with nothing to fill in at the exact moment you just want to get home.
The third is your safety code. That code protects the important actions during an outing, like clearing an alert or ending a date. It makes sure nobody can switch off your protection on your behalf if your phone is taken from you. Turn on biometrics to make everyday use quicker while keeping that protection when things go badly.
With those three things done you can forget the rest of the app. Starting a protected trip will take you a second, and that is exactly the point: safety should never be a chore you keep putting off.
